					I joined DAB to take over some responsibilities of the retiring Production Director. My previous experience in a production environment enabled me to streamline some of the production techniques thus reducing lead-times and wastage. Most of this was due to the development of new tooling and jigs that enabled the products to be manufactured much more quickly without sacrificing quality.
					Responsibilities:
					
						- Responsible for day to day running of the company’s IT infrastructure, including software, hardware and local area network.
						
 - Responsible for design and maintenance of the company website.
						
 - Responsible for calculating prices of all manufactured products and sub components.

					I started at AF Haynes as an apprentice engineer. Over the years I was introduced to all aspects of the workshop and was eventually appointed supervisor of the ‘short run’ section of the workshop. In this role I was responsible for 2 staff. Shortly afterwards, in addition to my daily responsibilities I was appointed as quality manager. In this role I was responsible for introducing the procedures required to attain BS5750.
